Organist
 

Salary: £6,750 per annum

Hours: approx. 4.5 per week

Bromley Parish Church seeks an experienced Organist to support our strong choral tradition and vibrant worshipping life. Working with our Director of Music and choir, you will play for the Sunday Choral Eucharist, monthly Choral Evensong, festivals, and occasional offices (fees payable).
You will:

• Provide high‑quality organ playing for worship.
• Support and accompany the choir.
• Contribute to musical planning and parish concerts/recitals.
• Care for instruments and arrange deputy cover when needed.

 
Essential: ARCO‑level playing, strong liturgical experience, improvisation and repertoire skills, choir accompaniment experience, collaborative working.
 
Desirable: Mentoring young musicians, conducting experience, formal qualifications.

Anna Chaplain

Stipend: £10,000 per annum

Hours: 10 per week

We are seeking a compassionate Anna Chaplain to support the spiritual wellbeing of older people in our church and community. This nationally recognised ministry, supported by BRF Ministries, offers person‑centred spiritual care to older people of any faith or none.
You will:

• Offer spiritual support through visits, conversations, and parish activities.
• Work with older people in church, at home, and in residential settings.
• Support relatives and carers.
• Advocate for older people within the parish and wider community.
• Collaborate with our Pastoral Team, Anna Friend, volunteers, and local Anna Chaplaincy Hub.

 
Essential: A practising Christian, strong listening skills, pastoral sensitivity, experience with older people, and confidence working collaboratively.
Desirable: Knowledge of local care provision, advocacy experience, basic IT skills, and a driving licence.
