Talking the Good News Course

Monday 12th October 2015

‘Talking… the Good News’ is an enjoyable four session course designed to help us feel confident talking about the good news of Jesus to people who are not yet active worshippers. Each week, through film clips, discussion and activities a range of topics are explored, such as ‘understanding how people come to faith and how we can help them on their journey’, ‘how to be a good listener’, ‘how to overcome our fear of talking to people about our faith’ and ‘how to be confident that we have good news to share.’

One of the aims of the course is that we talk not just about the good news of our salvation story or life after death, but also the good news of God breaking into our present experiences of life at home, at work, in our neighbourhoods and communities, so that we can paint a different picture of the church.
